About me


Welcome to my running blog. I’m Catherine. Here, I’ll write about my running journey, plant-based eating and travelling. I’m a French Canadian from beautiful Montréal, in Québec, Canada (but originally from China ha). It is truly a beautiful city. I’m also often in the capital region, Ottawa. It is a great city to run in, around the parliament and the Rideau canal.

I started to run when I was 16 years old. Before that, I danced for 12 years (jazz, ballet, tap). I studied 2,5 years in a professional ballet school. I began running during college as a way to lose weight but discovered it could bring me so much more! I ran my first race in 2012, a 5k. This race inspired me and I knew I just discovered something special. I ran my first half marathon in 2015 and I’ve been dreaming of running a marathon ever since. This is my long term goal and I still have many half marathons, 10k and 5k on my list. I love everything in the process to achieve this goal,the training runs, the long runs, the good ones and the bad ones. I also like being outdoors, breathing fresh air, swimming, yoga and cycling. I’m positive one day I’ll get there. 🙂

I’m currently completing a BSc in Psychology at Université de Montréal. I’m hoping to pursue to the MSc and PhD programs. I’d like to move to the US for a few years after that (always dream big!).

J’habite à Montréal, au Québec. J’adore être dehors, c’est pourquoi j’aime autant la course je crois. J’étudie présentement en psychologie, à l’Université de Montréal et j’ai démarré ce blog suite à l’un de mes cours! Je désire partager mes découvertes qui touchent la course, la nutrition et Montréal!

Je cours pour le plaisir, m’entraîner constitue mon moment préféré de la journée, où je peux arrêter de penser et profiter pleinement du moment présent. Pour moi, il n’y a rien de mieux que de voyager et participer à des courses dans diférents pays :). Merci de me suivre xx
